Pinwheel Thank You

     Hello!  Today's card was inspired by Rita Wright's Pinwheel card over at SCS (here).  I loved everything about her card and decided to CASE it using the supplies I had in my stamping room.  The pinwheel is such a great addition to the Sizzlits family and was so happy to see it in the Spring Catalog (even more happy to see that it was $4.95)!  This is definitely a quick and simple card that would impress any recipient!

Quick and Simple Valentine's

     Hello!  Today's card was inspired by Laurie Willison's card over at her blog, Soapbox Creations (here).  I absolutely {loved} everything about Laurie's card and used what I had in my stamp room to CASE her card.  It's hard to tell from the photo above but I used the circle stamp from the Apple Blossom stamp set (retired) to create a border.  This card was super quick and simple to create and would make a great Valentine's Day card!

Lots of Hearts

     Hello!  This incredibly quick and simple card was inspired not by a card but rather by a home decoration pin on Pintrest (here).  It's hard to tell from the photo but there are three rows of heart punched out of First Edition DSP (love that stuff!) and adhered to the card stock with Tombow glue.  I had thought of popping each heart up on a dimensional but that would have meant trimming the dimensional just a bit to fit inside the heart - way too much work!

Quick Open Sea

   
     Hello!  Today's card was inspired - eh hem - CASE'd from Bonnie Klass' blog, Stamping with Klass (here).  I mean really, what's not to love about her card?  It uses The Open Sea (my favorite set) it's incredibly quick and simple to make and there are no tools or accessories needed!  Bonus: it's a great masculine card!

Quick and Simple Christmas

     Hello!  You'd think the first thing I'd order from the new SU! catalog would be a new stamp set, right?  Nope!  After seeing so many wonderful cards on SCS using Christmas Lodge I decided to order it and try a few cards of my own.
     Here's my first creation: a quick and simple card that can be easily mass produced.  The "snow" was created by coloring the card stock with a white gel pen.

Lots of Blossoms!

     Hello!  Today's card was inspired by the Melon Mambo card on page 7 of the Summer Mini catalog.  I was so excited to see the new Triple Layer  punches in the Summer mini that I couldn't wait to try them out for myself. 

     I wanted to create a quick and simple card using the punch and since I'm a fan of pink I thought why not go try a card with several different shades. I love pearls (both as jewelry and embelishments) and knew they would look great in the center of the flower.  Although they've been on my "wish list" for quite some time I'm afraid to admit that I haven't yet ordered the basic rhinestone jewels (pg 188, $4.95).  I think the rhinestones would give it a different feel and add a little "bling" to the card!

Quick and Simple Christmas Card

     Hello!  Today's card was inspired by the need to create tons of Christmas cards this season with very little time to make them all!  I also have the really bad habit of ordering tag stamp sets from Stampin' Up! with every intention of making tags for Christmas gifts but then for some reason I always end up using the store bought tags (gasp!).  So I decided that instead of adding to my stamp set collection I would actually use them this year. 

     The first card I made with Tags 'Til Christmas (here) was also a simple card.  I absolutely love the extra-large Decorative Label punch (pg 25 of Holiday Mini, $16.95) that coordinates so well with two of the stamps from the set and I think that's what inspired me to use the punch on this card.  In total, this card took less than 10 minutes to make.  A quick and simple card for sure!
