Enchanted Anniversary

     Hello!  Today's card was inspired by Julie Marshall's Always & Forever card on her blog Stamping Impressions (here).  I {loved} everything about her card so I decided to CASE it using what I had on hand!     
     The Framelits dies I used are available in the Occasions Mini (here) but Everyday Enchantment DSP is only available in the Sale-A-Bration catalog (here).

Beautiful Butterflies

 Hello! Today's card was inspired by StamperJen0's Happy Day to You! card over at SCS.  I absolutely loved her layout and to make the card more of my own I decided to break out my Wisteria Wonder card stock (I LOVE that color!).  I used the Color Coach to help me choose colors that would coordinate with the purple (LOVE that tool!)

Pretty In Pink DSP

     Hello!  Today's card was inspired by my need for another anniversary card and Andrea Walford's Butterfly Card over at her blog Sunny Stampin', Inc.  One of these days I'll remember to order the En Francais stamp (I've wanted it for 2 years now!) but until then I'll use what I've got.

     To make this card more of my own I decided to change the color combo and use First Edition DSP for the background.  First Edition is one of the most versatile DSP's I ever purchased - it can be used with almost any project and you can change the color with a brayer and an ink pad!  Simply load the brayer with a light color and roll over the DSP.  Try crumpling up the DSP and then smoothing it out for a great textured look. 

     The butterflies were cut out with the Beautiful Wings embosslit die and Big Shot.  I added a tiny pearl to the center of each butterfly and adhered with Tombow Multipurpose glue.

Happy Anniversary!

      Hello!  Today's card was inspired by Sarah Wills' simple notecard over at her blog, Sarah's Ink Spot.  If you haven't had the chance to check out her blog you really should - she's amazing!  To make Sarah's card more of my own I changed the colors, main image and sentiment. 
     In my effort to keep my New Year's resolution of sending special occasion cards to all family members this year I realized that anniversaries should be included.  Of course, an anniversary stamp is THE ONE type of stamp set I don't own, so I had to imrovise.  I wasn't sure if I should use a "congratulations" sentiment (I strongly believe that 27 years of marriage deserves a hearty congrats!) or "best wishes".  In the end I went with the latter, but mostly because the font went better with the First Edition DSP (everything has to be just so...).
