Calypso Flowers

     Hello!  Today's card was inspired by Angie Juda's Clear Block Cards (here).  I love the simplicity of her cards but wanted to add a few layers and a little "bling" to mine.
     This card is simple enough to make in mass quantities.  Looking for a little variety?  Just change the color and image!

Wish Big!

     Hello!  So far my New Year's resolution of sending birthday cards on time to everyone in my family hasn't been broken.  But we do have men in our family and as much as I love flowers and pearls I need to appeal to the masculine crowd.  In my Occasions Mini pre-order several months ago (one of the many perks of being a demo) I ordered the Bring On the Cake stamp set and First Edition Designer Series Paper and knew the image and paper would work perfectly together.
     The DSP is bit lighter than traditional DSP and reminds me of an old encyclopedia. While I've only used one sheet from the pack of 24 I think I may have to order another before April 30th - this will be a staple in my collection!

CAS Crumb Cake Birthday

     Hello! Today's card was inspired by cindybstampin's card over at SCS. I loved how Cindy used only 3 cake images from the stamp rather than all 6.  I also loved how she used the label punch for something other than a label!
     To make this CAS (Clean and Simple) card more of my own I omitted the DSP and changed the colors.

A CAS Circular Birthday

     Hello!  Today's card was inspired by Dawn Griffith's birthday card over at Dawn's Stamping Thoughts.  I love the colors brown and pink together and instantly knew I had to make my own version of her beautiful card.  To be honest, I think I might have drooled a little on my laptop when I first saw it. 
      Have I mentioned that I am also absolutely loving the new Build A Cupcake and Create A Cupcake punch and stamp set?!  If it's possible to wear out a punch and stamp set I think I may just do that within the next few weeks - every single card I've made has used those two products!  I'll be posting these cards soon.
     It's hard to tell from the photo but the main card stock is textured Very Vanilla.

Another CAS Baby Card

     Hello!  This should be my final baby card for a while (I hope!).  Looking for a cute but quick card to help inspire me I searched "CAS baby" at over at SplitCoast and bon2stamp's card was one of the many that popped up!
    To make this card more of my own (and to make it fitting for a boy!), I changed the color and added a jumbo circle brad rather than a flower.

A Birthday CASE, Take 2!

     Hello!  I loved my first CASE of jacynthe's card so much that I thought I'd try it again, this time turning it into a Christmas card!  I kept the layout the same but used Jolly Holiday DSP instead.

     Had I seen this card in the SplitCoastStampers gallery sooner I think I would have made this the family Christmas card.  It can be easily made "assembly line" style and is the perfect card to use up scraps.  Oh well, there's always next year!

CASEing A Birthday CASE

     Hello!  Today's card was inspired by jacynthe's card over at SplitCoastStampers.  Jacynthe's card is more on the masculine side and I tried my best to replicate that tone but I just couldn't.  No matter what colors of DSP I put together they still looked girly.  I finally decided to go with Marina Mist, Pretty In Pink and Old Olive and I'm quite happy with the end result!

     To "wrap" the gifts I wrapped a piece of grosgrain ribbon around the DSP and secured on the back.  For the bow I used an extra piece of ribbon and tied it to the first piece of ribbon.
