Sympathy

     Hello!  As I mentioned last week I'm in need of three sympathy cards this month; here's the second. 
     I found this card via Pintrest on Karen Aicken's blog, Altered Scrapbooking (here).  I loved everything about her card and CASE'd it using what I had in my stamp room.

Sharing In Your Sorrow

     Hello!  It's always unfortunate when you have to make sympathy cards and this month I'm in need of three...  
     I loved atsamom's "Pink and Brown Thoughts" card over at SCS (here) and decided to CASE it using what I had in my stamp room.

Thinking of You

      While I absolutely love making cards, sympathy cards are the hardest to make.  Thankfully it's not often that I need to create one.  This card was inspired by Karen B Barber's Blissful card over at SplitCoastStampers.
     I loved the black and white colors, layout and stamp set so I decided to change very little on my card.  The background is the flourish image from the Bliss stamp set stamped several times.  The sentiment is from the hostess set Silhouette Sentiments.  I would have added dimensionals to the second layer of card stock but felt that the extra bulk (with the bow) would require extra postage.

Elements of Sympathy

     I love to stamp but the one card I hate to make is a sympathy card.  Unfortunately, I needed to make one recently for a co-worker of my mother's.
     This card was inspired by many cards on Split Coast Stampers that use the Elements of Style set and a similar layout.  The flower image was stamped in black Staz-On and colored in with a blending pen and Bravo Burgundy and Always Artichoke ink.  The front of the envelope was also stamped with the flower image and colored.
