One of my New Year's resolutions is to get handmade birthday cards in the mail, on time, to everyone. Now that the "baby boom" is over I can finally sit down and start making some of those birthday cards (hence the past few birthday posts). This card was inspired by Dawn Giffith's Christ Is Born card. If you're not familiar with the emboss resist technique head over to SplitCoastStampers and check out their picture tutorial (here). On a side note, I actually purchased this particular stamp set with the emboss-resist technique in mind. The flower image is fairly solid and large, making it the perfect stamp to use!
